So, we had the pleasure of sampling some of Hottie Hawg's offerings at the recent meeting for Spink-Collins Park and wanted to share how seriously delicious this place is. Not only have the proprietors made significant improvements to the space and created a comfortable atmosphere, but these folks know how to barbecue. I highly recommend checking this place out immediately upon its opening.

Come out to the meeting tomorrow night and join us for some bbq at Hottie Hawg's after. They will be having a soft opening and serving a limited menu. They should be open for business officially any day now.

They are still working on that. I will keep everyone posted on the official opening. After eating there last night, Natalie (Marketing Manager) said she would keep me abreast of the situation. They also mentioned another "SOFT OPENING" as they are getting the kinks worked out before the Grand Opening.

BTW, we had a half rack, bbq sandwhich, pulled chicken, fries, slaw, and cucumber salad. I will say that all the food was tasty minus the slaw (not terrible though). I hope the portions are a bit larger for the sides once they open and the ribs seemed a bit on the small side also for a half rack although very good flavor. Also, I really like mustard based bbq sauces and they had a delicious version at Hottie Hawgs.

Stay tuned.
